Welcome to Awana Clubs!
Thank you for allowing your child to participate in Awana Clubs! We're grateful you trust us to teach biblical truth to your child. It is our prayer that every child in our community will develop lasting faith in Jesus.
God's Big Story
Creation
God existed before there was anything else. He created the world from nothing, and everything was good! God made people in His image.
The Fall
Through Adam and Eve, people broke their relationship with God by choosing their own way. Sin is anything we think, say, or do that disobeys God.
Redemption
God sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin. Jesus died on the cross and rose again! Trusting in Jesus is the only way to be saved.
Restoration
Jesus began restoring what was broken. He promises that one day it will be made fully right. As His followers, we live in His love and tell others!
Our Awana Club Has 3 Segments
Large Group
Your child experiences engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching, praise, worship, and group presentations to grow in love for God's Word.
Small Group / Handbook Time
Connect with dedicated adult leaders who listen to memorized scripture, foster discipleship, and discuss biblical truths in their handbooks.
Game Time
High-energy games on the official Awana square! Teaches teamwork, good sportsmanship, and support for teammates regardless of athletic ability.
Four Basic Tools for Clubbers
Handbook
A structured one-year plan to help your child memorize scripture with age-appropriate prompts and activities.
Handbook Bag
A dedicated spot at home and club to keep your child's handbook, Bible, offering, and take-home sheets safely.
Uniform
Vests (Sparks) and green shirts (T&T) promote belonging, team spirit, and a place to display earned pins and emblems.
Uniform Awards
Recognitions earned throughout the year as sections and handbooks are completed, encouraging persistent discipleship.
Discipleship at Home: How Parents Can Help
Attending Awana Club is a great start, but the short time at club is just the beginning! The writer of Psalm 119 tells us that young people maintain a pure life by guarding it according to God's Word.
Designate a Spot
Find a central place to store your child's handbook, Bible, and uniform so they are easy to find every club night!
Memorize Together
Practice verses throughout the week! Even better, memorize the scripture verses alongside your child.
Look Back
On the drive home or at dinner, ask: "What did you learn about God when you were at Awana tonight?"
Look Ahead
Review the upcoming section so your student arrives prepared, excited, and ready to recite their verses!
